Scott’s daughter Sophia is a recent graduate of Ohio State and works in Columbus; Tommy, Scott’s son, is in his first year at Ohio State. Scott and Laura also enjoy doing life with three dogs, Beau (9), Wrigley (8) and Stella (7). Scott’s time away from work is spent volunteering and doing activities he enjoys. The first thing many people say when they hear Nanci’s name is “Oh, yeah, she’s the dog lady!” That’s because she has five at home now and over the past 13 years, she and her saint of a husband have rescued, fostered and/or adopted a total of 21 senior and special needs dogs. When she’s not busy being the dog lady, Nanci is focused on being the part-time Development Coordinator for First Tee—Canton. She enjoys all aspects of her job but connecting with the people who are part of the First Tee family is her favorite. It’s very rewarding to discover what it is that keeps families coming back to us for golf instruction and the life lessons learned through this beloved game. In addition to First Tee—Canton, Nanci has a consulting and contract business that serves other small nonprofits and ministries with fund development, data management, and the grants process.
