Scholarships

First Tee - Canton will provide any family that requests financial assistance an opportunity to receive a scholarship for their program fees. You can request financial assistance during the online registration process.

The Bill Thompson and Becky Thompson Brown Scholarship Fund

Bill Thompson was an avid golfer and he loved his granddaughter even more.  To honor his memory and help children participate in First Tee - Canton, the Thompson family created a scholarship in Bill’s name. In the fall of 2015, the Thompson family experienced another tragic loss with the passing of Becky.  Becky, the daughter of Bill Thompson, was our first contact with the Thompson family and helped us establish the scholarship in her dad's honor.

The application is due March 25, 2022 and is available to any child between the ages of 7 - 18.  This is not a financial need based scholarship.  Rather it is to award a child for exemplifying First Tee's Core Values.
